No, ricer would be like for example: somebody has like a shitty 10 year old Honda and puts like a gay ass exhaust on it with a HUGE spoiler, black rims, with a gay paintjob. its a shitty car but they're trying to add cool stuff to make it look cool, but it actually makes the car look SUPER ghetto and fucking retarded.

My graphics card won't let me boot into Linux.
I have to switch to my on board graphics to use Linux.

It's almost impossible to build your own Mac with he same parts apple uses because they use primarily custom parts. But If you mean just run the OS on a OC that is basically the same. Not quite as sleek, but same capabilities

From taking apart enough apples to know,very few parts are special order. iMacs sure(as its all integrated into the monitor) but a standard mac build with a normal case is really the same parts with an Apple Certified sticker on them.

I love the zunes, but I prefer the UI of the ipods. They are simple, which is all I want from a music player. Everything else, I want to be able to modify the shit out of without them trying to stop me from doing so.

Heavy audio/visual/media can be done just as easily on PC my friend. Macs are just more expensive and are somewhat idiot proof due to their Nazi software/hardware.

Personally,I think simpler is better. Windows Movie Maker blows asschunks. Never had good luck with it. Most people I know who do it prefer mac. So who knows. Personal preference. Just my rule of thumb.

Again,look at final point:build own PC(get to pick awesome parts) then run Mac OSX on it and bam. MOst people buy macs for the case,just like the Alienwares now

It does; however, the things you can do with garageband is very limited. Now, that's not to say that the things created are not of quality; however, the tools available are not as flexible as on other programs such as FL Studio.

Oh god..I hate it so much. Im a computer Tech for my friends/family. I fix their PCs for the cost of parts+10$. I cant fix their computers UNLESS i use Apple Specific Parts and I have to make sure to not touch the stupid as shit stickers on them or else it voids the entire item.

Macs have a big impact on specific industry needs and special consumer needs.
Industry: Video/ Picture/ (maybe)Sound editing | Consumer: Simplicity, less possible chance of getting a virus

Windows computers, on the other hand, can do a lot more with flying colors. Granted that most people never use it to the full potential. (Plus Windows Computers can be upgraded; The most recent Mac Books have the RAM soldered to the case, making it impossible to upgrade it.)

Internet has absolutely NOTHING to do with it, unless you are comparing a Chrome book to a Mac/ PC.

Newer Processors, Graphic cards, RAM, hard drives/ solid state drives/ hybrid drives, ect. greatly improves Multitasking and 3D rendering, along with faster read/ write/ load times.
Hop on an old XP computer and try to open 4 programs and use them interchangeably. You'll notice how slow it is. Now, use a newer computer (anything, really) and do the same. Notice how rarely they fail to respond or slow down.

I can overclock my PC and add a liquid cooling or extra fans for cooling for the quickest response. I can also put different operation systems on my PC. Also, I don't have a bunch of unnamed icons that look like a big huge ass mess on the bottom of my screen. And my system specs are a lot higher for less. That and you can make a PCs smaller than a DVD case.

Well here's my advice. A mac is just a PC with shitty hardware with an expensive OS (Operating System) on it. Buy a PC, "hack" MACINTOSH OS X on to it. Not only will you have a better "Mac", you would have saved a shitton of money. But I pirate and never have I gotten a virus. You have to be cautious. The only reason people say windows are unreliable is because they are stupid and not cautious.

But if a mac gets a damaged component, or somewhere in the software, it's pretty much impossible to fix it and you gotta buy a whole new one. Hell, even the apple keyboards cant be fixed at home!

Macs aren't hard to fix. I've had one for 4 years with little to no problems, all of them easily fixable.

I built my PC case. It's a chair. I put spare fans in so you have cooling around your waist when you sit down. It's also a recliner. Leather too. GTX 690 graphics card in it also. With 32 gigs of 1600mhz of RAM. Intel 3930K processor. The all new physics cards to take some weight off of my GPU also. With three 50" plasma TV's for eyefinity.

What are you going to do with 32 gigs of ram? All you need tops is like 8 or 12..

32 gigs of RAM to last me the next few generations of games if they decide to progress slowly, otherwise I'd go with 8 to 10 Gigs max and 6 minimum.

I doubt they'll start making better games until late next year when the next gen gaming consoles come out.. not much has changed in consoles since 2005, it's time for an upgrade

Well let's hope along with next generation gear they finally make a god damn game worth playing. You know, perhaps a few more great GOTY-worthy star wars games instead of this Force Unleashed God Mode bull shit. Let's hope the 99% are worth the 60$ and not out there to be dumbed down for the younger generation of dumbasses. I'm still enjoying KOTOR and Legend of Zelda, and those actually take a little bit of sense to complete. I'm sick and tired of linear story lines. Also, I know Mass Effect is a good game to others and I have played the Mass Effect series seldomly, I personally never got into it. Also, I've heard they've been moneywhoring to make people pay for the actual ending. Yep, can't wait for the next solid Star Wars game. I want a game like SWKOTOR with improved realistic graphics. Just imagine that, star wars with graphics of say, BF 3 or Halo? Or since Bioware made ME series, they could easily just use an improved engine of ME to make a new SWKOTOR series! Omg, the possibilities. Let's take Crysis for example, not the greatest game. Pretty boring single player, I admit I was pretty disappointed, and not the greatest multiplayer. Although I liked the open Crysis multiplayer and that, it was just laggy, that's all. The player had a not-too-great storyline but you could actually roam around the area, unlike battlefield 3 or COD.

TL;DR? Next-gen games better be memorable and not shitty rip offs for free money.

Do you play games like GTA and Red dead Redemption? Red dead to me will always be remembered, the open wilderness, the drama, the adventure, it was all too great, GTA V will be great too, just look at how hard the people at rockstar north are working to make this brilliant game, and how easy it is for them to get people worked up with nothing but a few screenshots and a trailer. Assassin'screed is pretty sweet too.. I just hope they stop making them for a while, and focus on pure quality. to me, call of duty is a thing of the past. every year i keep saying that the next addition will be better, like modern warfare 2.. but it's just been shit lately.

What would you put into the next gen console?

I've played Red Dead quite a bit actually, I enjoyed it. But still, I want to see higher quality games. I also want realistic graphics, but that's just me.

Never got into it. Not much into racing games IMO. I want a solid story line. Last game I played with a good story like was Halo Reach. I can't explain much, but games nowadays just lack replayability. Unlike games of the past. You play Zelda?
