Key difference between abortion and the death penalty:
Abortion kills innocent babies, death penalty kills guilty axe murderers.
But dont get me wrong, I'm pro-abortion. Babies are really annoying.

I'm pro-killing people in general, with some serious regulation. I think abortion should be legalized as long as there is a significant waiting period before you can go through with it and dire penalties for multiple abortions to prevent it from becoming the new plan B. Except in the case of extenuating circumstances such as rape, The cost of the procedure should be high enough to discourage rash action, bu low enough to still be affordable to everyone who needs it the first time it's needed.
With the death penalty, as long as there is solid evidence against accidental, negligent or justified homicide I believe the punishment should be death. If you can willingly kill out of selfish motives another person, you aren't fit for civilized society and as such should be removed from it without burdening that society with your upkeep.

I once had one of those college conservatives berate me for being a bad catholic because I had an Obama pin on my back-pack, granted I was a horrible catholic, but that's not the point. That's just jumping to conclusions.

What's wrong with the death penalty? Abortion is killing something that has done nothing wrong. Death penalty is for the people who fucked up
