False, Evergreens turn color according to season as well. Pine tree is a perfect example. As it turns colder and there is less rain the needles begin to decay and turn brown. Evergreen refers to the tree being able to store water for extended periods of time thus given the appearance of green during the dry months but this process is slowed down due to colder climates and sudden climate change.
