How are they supposed to judge singing when they can't sing themselves?

I can't wait for someone to go on american idol, constantly point at nikki and sing, "You a stupid hoe"

kanye west really isn't that of an artist bad to me...he just has an over-inflated ego which tends to make him seem like a total dick

As far as music and producing goes, Kanye West is astoundingly talented. Just because he's put in the same spot light as all the other shitty rappers now, doesn't mean he sucks. His music videos, producing, lyrics are incredibly original. I agree a lot of his songs are about pussy and money and shit but he also has plenty of songs with great meaning, and hes very artistic when it comes to music videos. I'm not a huge fan of him but i don't think he deserves all the hate. Nicki Minaj is the real target.

Kanye is one of the more musically knowledgeable people they've had as a judge on American Idol. His stuff before 808's and Heartbreak was actually good. Talent and skill don't sell very well in the rap industry however, so he sold out. I still like the guy though.

Heard a radio show talking about how Maraiah Carrie or Nicki Minaj was going to be a judge.

They said "Well why can't both of them do it?"
