there is a way to do this, but it's not that, and you need a really high tech kitchen to do it. there is a way to bake brownies/bread/other that has everything have the texture of the center, but you need to vacuum lock the dough in an airtight baking pan, then lock that in a water "pod". if done correctly, you get all-center baked goods, but if done wrong you just get a soggy lump and a broken oven.

Uhh... just to clarify, this post has to do with the crunchy outer part of the brownie. No matter what you do you will have the crunchy exterior of the brownie because it needs to cook. It would be like cooking bread without the crust. You cant.

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the part of the brownie that touches the edge of the pan, hence the shape of the one which offers all edge pieces. The outside needs to cook, but as the mixis continous all the way around, none of it would touch the edge of any pan leaving an enture middle section around the sphere.
