Bad cow

So I was playing on tekkit and I had this idea. I spawned 512 nukes (because fuck you, that's why) and placed them in an 8x8x8 cube. I attached redstone to it and a pressure plate. Never experimenting with it but knowing it was much more powerful then TNT, I used obsidian as a blast wall. After a few seconds, nothing happened, I didn't know how long it took to detonate. A few more seconds pass and the whole thing lags up a storm. I can't even get the debris from the blast zone.

tl;dr: Read the damn thing.
