I don't think you can compare those two.
Both are targeting different audiences and both are different in their own aspects.
The Avengers and the sub-movies(Thor,Iron Man, Hulk, etc) appeal towards the typical Action/Explosive movie goers.
While The Dark Knight (And possibly man of steel) is aiming towards a more grittier, realistic appeal.

I still think that when the Justice League comes out(it's inevitable) it'll make more than any Avenger movie simply because it's the Justice League- fuck you.

you serious... The Avengers took many major films to build up? What does Justice League have? The\ false hope of making as much money as Avengers and Ryan Reynolds... there is no contest.

Man of steel, Wonder woman, The flash(I believe), and they already have Batman and the green lantern.
The justice league is standing with it's own major films.
There is a contest, and I'm sure many can see it.

No, I was talking about Christian Bale. If they have batman it'll more than likely be Joseph Gordon-levitt depending on what they do to his role in Batman, but more than likely he'll be the new batman.
And I didn't know The JL was already announced

High five. I love The Justice League better than The Avengers. Everyone jumped on The Avengers dicks just because the movie was made. Once The Justice League comes out I'm going to question them to see if they are truthfully JL fans.

Well its understandable for wanting people to have fun. But there will be too many people who just watch the movies and think that they are canon. They think they will know everything about the actual comics just from watching movies. And me being huge fan of the JLA I don't wann deal with idiot talking about comics that they do not know of.
