I'm glad. The front page doesn't seem very funny today. That's why I started looking through the new stuff.

Yeah, I just started an account on here and I'm trying to put up actually OC without using content anyone else has made. Shits hard lol

It also seems to me that some people who browse the new uploads don't know if something is funny unless they've seen it somewhere else. My "best" upload got a bunch of down thumbs right away before getting a bunch of up thumbs, and if you get a net of 5 down thumbs then nobody will see your stuff. Sometimes it's like their attitude with OC is, "screw you for trying".

Yeah, I've noticed thats a big part of it (I had no idea if your content got thumbed down 5 times no one could see it!!) no one really wants to see 'new content' just the same memes with different words. Which, I'm not saying I don't like the old memes, I'd just like to see more OC.

I agree, I uploaded something today (not terribly funny, but OC), and I was at 7 up thumbs to 3 down thumbs, figured it wouldn't go anywhere, and now I'm at 90 up thumbs to 4 down thumbs. So I think it's people browsing the new content who tend to down thumb OC.
