dont stop archery, you just need to improve, what IS bad is when you use glassfiber arrows and you get splinters from that in your hand, that is both painful and slightly dangerous

Overdraw. They drew the bowstring back too far, so the arrow was no longer resting against the spot it usually rests in. The arrow then moved in the direction of their hand and they let go.
