no it can't. The greenhouse effect is adding in greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere that weren't there before, such as from the ground. That is pollution.
Taking water from the oceans, and putting it into the air will just rain down a couple days later, no pollution.

you're actually quite slow, and this man is correct. In fact, the greenhouse effect is natural and is caused by many gases, including WATER VAPOR which makes up something like 90% of total greenhouse gases. The greenhouse effect is necessary to life on earth. The RUNAWAY greenhouse effect is human influenced, and while the majority of this is caused by the gases you would think of as greenhouse gases, like carbon, this is because carbon is in such a small amount in the atmosphere that the amount we produce can change it relatively substantially.

I agree that this kind of content can be funny, but far too often it's someone making an honest mistake and everyone pointing and saying HURR DURR LOOK HOW STOOPID.

The first part, when they thought the steam was pollution was lack of knowledge. When they started to argue, without checking up on facts, that's when we realised they were fucking stupid.

Yes, but when confronted with an actual explanation they always react in the kind of way that you can only assume they are just stupid.

I'm pretty sure this person would in the end accept reasonable arguments, and would prefer to just call them ignorant. This person was probably brought up to recognise that kind of structure as being "a nuclear powerplant" and believes anything coming out of it is polluting, and those beliefs won't change by some guy saying 'actually, I believe it's different". That's hardly a convincing argument.

I agree, though when it comes to the fact they don't have knowledge on the most obvious things they should have learnt in school, thats enough to call it ignorance and not 'lack of knowledge'. I'd say not knowing that those are just cooling towers by their shape and not knowing that all cooling towers do is emit steam and water vapour is pretty ignorant, since the government pressured everyone to learn about global warming in schools for the past 5 years...

Steam is only invisible if you're among physisicsts. Those water droplets that form and become visible? Everyone calls that steam. A physicist would say everyone is wrong, but you're on linguistic territory here, so if nearly everyone calls it steam, it's steam.

Also I can hardly imagine ANYONE looking at a kettle and saying 'would you look at that cloud of water. So, while you're actually right in theor, it doesn't stand up in the real world.
