To the thermal scope question, yes, I have it, but I have NO FUCKING RIFLE AMMO. And for your second question, no, I used to have it on the PS2 about 5 years ago, but I haven't played it since. Just downloaded the HD version on XBL

Beat the game once- special costume 1, Special 3 burst pistol, Infinate rocket launcher

Beat the game twice- Special costume 2, Ashley has knight armor and is invincible

Beat seperate ways- Get an unlimited Thompson

Beat the game on hard- Get a free lasergun that is an instant kill and unlimited amo

Get 5 stars on all maps with all characters in mercenaries- Special 50.cal magnum (You actually have to upgrade it but it is free)

*Note* when you beat the game and you are returned to the main menu, just put contue or else you lose all of your shit

Matilda (special 3 burst handgun)- 50,000 gold

Infinite Rocket Launcher- 100,000 gold

Chicago typewriter (thompson)- 100,000 gold

the special magnum and laser are free but you have to upgrade the magnum. And the Magnum needs ammo until you upgrade it all the way, but you pick up a lot of ammo for it.

Yeah I've never been able to unlock the typewriter or handcannon, I'm hoping I can on this playthrough

I've beaten this game about 15 times, I even remember which boxes have snakes and I remember were all the treasures. I have to say this was my personal favorite game.
