Most chemical mixtures start to lose their potency in time, getting replaced by oxygen, water and stuff like that. So in time the poison'd become less poisonous.

Well since gavrilo princip (The guy who shott Franz Ferdinant and started the 1 world war) tried to take suicide with expired cyanid witch lead to him not getting killed butt only getting realy realy fucking dolan style sick i would say it getts less poisenous. fuck Yeaaaah! History gives answers to lifes greatest questions once again!!
How could there be a possibility for it to be more poisonous? Am I missing some kind of play on words here?

An out of date poison is less likely to poison you, and more likely to make you sick as if eating spoiled food.
The guys who started one of the World Wars (I think No. 1), by assassinating the Serbian dude, took expired cyanide as a way out so they didn't get captured, but because it was out of date it didn't kill them, it just made them throw up loads. So I'd go with less poisonous.
