It's definitely coincidence. Common misunderstanding, though. For it to be situational irony, it would have to be the exact opposite of the expected outcome.

But on the other hand, it could be considered verbal irony, which is virtually sarcasm, since the combination of image and text imply a sarcastic response.

The picture itself is ironic, it being from FJ is not. Which is what the dear commenter was saying was ironic.

Well, I know people are going to thumb you down for this, since comment 58 said the exact same thing as you, but I am going to point out that he could have been making the comment at the same time and just hit comment later then the guy before him. You don't have to thumb him up, but don't thumb him down because of some bad luck.
