I think all the modern Doctors are good, and way different then all the others. Eccleston was a soldier who was still suffering from it, Tennant was trying to save all the people he could, sometimes killing more than he saved, and Smith is not all right in the head, but he is still as awesome as the others.
My favorite episode I have to say was Dalek.

I preferred the script for the 9th and 10th Doctor series'. Me, and most others I know who watch the show would agree that the originality started to die out some time around when the 11th Doctor arrived. It has nothing to do with the actor (I personally prefer Matt Smith over Christopher Eccleston), though I think most people can agree that David Tennant is the best modern Doctor to appear on the scene. For one, he's Scottish, which is a nice change.
