It still makes sense with "know" instead of "knew". What if he still knows the guy? The only thing that needs to be in past tense is "did" because it was previously done. Learn grammar before you correct someone for it.

The correction wasn't really unnecessary because there was no consistency in his verb tenses. He could have had either "I knew someone who did it," or "I know someone who does it,"

wrong because he can still currently KNOW the person who DID it previously... if you say KNEW that means he previously knew the person, as in not anymore... I understand what you are trying to say but in this case having consistency in the verb tense in those two words completely changes the meaning of the sentence

When learning German I learnt that nouns are capitalized. Aka, "I went to the Shop and picked up Eggs and Bacon before giving them to the Cashier to pay." I suppose it might be easier for people who don't speak English to capitalize everything. Hell, for all I know most languages might capitalize every word. :P

I do it too its a bad habit I have and I think its OCD but I am slowly trying to break the habit, I am sorry.

I used to type like that back when I was a troll on GameFAQs. Easiest way to piss people off. Every single word was like a slap in their face and people would argue with me about my typing for hours.
