I'm sorry, but all their biggest characters from their various games fighting in a 2D arena with various items and power-ups just sounds way to similar to Smash Bros. for me. As far as I can tell, Sony is making this game simply so that Nintendo doesn't have the idea to themselves. Instead of adding a new unique game their arsenal, they've decided to remove one from Nintendo's. It was pretty much their last one, too. Now, someone will have to come up with something new. I'm betting on Nintendo. Of course, that means that Sony and/or Microsoft will most likely having something comparable to it within a couple years, but that's just the way the industry's running these days.

Nintendo doesn't come up with that many original concepts. All they've done for 10 years is ride Link Mario and Samus, among a few select few others. If anyone is going to make something genuinely new, it'll probably be Microsoft, considering they're the newest among the bigger 3 and have made the most impact, only counting the American and European markets.

I liked melee but cmon, brawl is better in so many ways. The only way melee could win is if it came out first (which is did) and earned the "old is legendary argument".
