If I ACTUALLY need to google something (not a website) then I just use google chrome, I can set the homepage to my new tab and not give 2 shits because I have bookmarks of the sites I go to and the search engine in the URL bar.

there's a school webpage for checking your grades, and I know the url for it (it's not that long) but you have to type in everything starting with the http part because it has to be in https for the page to load at all. The only other way to get to the site is to go the the school website first. I don't know which option's faster but I prefer to type it.
