Kinda hard to see, but this sums it up perfectly. You can walk around dressed as a FUCKING DAEDRA and people just go about their day, not even commenting on it.

It makes me wonder if when the guards said they were adventurers, they used to be god-tier like your Oblivion protagonist, and that's why they're so unimpressed at your otherwise awe-inspiring accomplishments.

so true. When i tried to join the Dark brotherhood after become the head mage at the college, the entire time i was like "Bitch, i'm the fucking head mage of the fucking MAgic college, i think i can handel a beggar."

People say shit when the sun is Black though. But I really wish they would change the dialogue or completely remove it when you try to barter with people. I have to wait for them to half finish a sentence before I can actually sell shit.

That's true. Something I preferred about Fallout. They may not have always recognized me, but the recognized the changes I made. Like after the Oasis quest, (I chose to spread Harold's seeds) as soon as I leave, a wanderer comes to me, telling me that great things are happening, life is returning. Just my opinion.

yeah I get that, my main character at the moment is a lvl 20 mage who is and expert in destruction, Arch mage of the mages guild, vampire lord with sun blotting bow, killed alduin with ice magic, listener of the dark brotherhood, and the guards still at all high and mighty!
Makes me want to wipe out the whole of whiterun again

All that at level 20? Jesus christ

trying to focus on magic means you level bloody slowly, its like 42 hours of gameplay I think. Its one annoying problem with skyrim

That's one of the things I hate about Skyrim. I'm a saviour of worlds 'n shit, but after I do everything that's possible, destroy the most powerful dragon, help daedra lords, capture cities, become leader of factions and shortly the most powerful man in the fucking universe, nobody knows, nobody cares and I don't get any free shit 'n shit.

Yeah, and another thing that disappointed me, is in the Dark Brotherhood quests (spoiler?) when you kill the fucking Emperor of fucking Skyrim... no one cares. Or nobody finds out. Like, when the dragonborn appears, EVERYONE knows. But when someone assassinates the Emperor... it's like it never even happened.

Yeah, I meant that. The Emperor of fucking TAMRIEL. It's like assassinating every world leader out there. And somehow, nobody finds out.

I really hope Bethesda comes back with a quick patch or some mod gets released. Anything that makes you recognized for what you've done would be fine. Even if it's like "Hey did you hear? Someone just walked onto that fucking boat and shoved his sword down the emporer's throat."

Yeah, or if sometimes people maybe treated you like you were the leader of the Guild, maybe got suspicious of you or something. O with the Companions, if people in Whiterun regarded you as a hero of sorts.

Although sometimes guards will say "Psst. I know who you are. Hail Sithis." making a comment on your connection to the Dark Brotherhood. But still, the Dark Brotherhood is supposed to be completely secret. You wouldn't know who is a member. Maybe in the Companions or the Thieves Guild they would recognize you... but not when you're a master assassin.

Yeah I know that feel,I was the "master" of the Companions in Skyrim and a guard was like"So you're the new companion,what do you do?fetch mead?" I was like "OH NO YOU DIDN'T" and killed him.(ofc after saving)

When you kill Alduin the guards will thank you every once and awhile and the Dark Brotherhood they will say they know who you are and hail the night mother i think or the god the brotherhood follows

Lol, I think everyone who did the mages college quest wears these clothes :p

Yeah once I realised EVERYONE wore that mask with the Archmages robes with elven gauntlets and boots, I was crushed. So I decided to enchant the shit out of everything. Right now I have gauntlets that can one-hit KO a dragon with my fists.

I haven't used the two enchant perk yet, I have it, but I haven't used it yet, let me check if I have issues with it.

nope i played on very hard.
in oblivion you had to do like 9 quests just to get in the guild itself.
in skyrim it takes like 5 to become arch mage.

And the gameplay of skyrim is a lot better, though the quest might be a bit shorter, i like just doing a quest where you don't have to stay in a cave for 3 fucking hours.

i've been playing Elder Scrolls since Morrowind, i liked Skyrim it just feels like they took a bunch of the good stuff out.
for example spellcrafting!
Skyrim's gameplay was obviously smoother and what not, just lacking the real content.

don't you miss staves, spears, crossbows, medium armor, unarmored, and unarmed?... :( there is no monk class in skyrim.
