This is my first year, and my first 2 semester have math classes.

I can't remember what, I don't have the schedule with me. But its Math 100 followed by calculus. Fuck Calculus.

Calculus in college? Yes please, try doing it in high school. That's 180 days of torture, plus some because of portfolios.

Everyone has different talents. I'm good at languages, I don't understand why my brother can't remember vocabulary.
I'm subpar at math, my brother is exasperated at me not knowing my times tables.

calculus isnt really all that bad. i mean its not like english where you can sling bullshit and have a chance of getting it right. it takes some time and effort... like most grown-up things

Good English, which it seems like you don't really respect, if slung together nicely, can become poetic or artistic and can show expression. Math is just functions and is completely different. You need both and can get good at both.

tl;dr math and English shouldn't be compared, they are both necessary to a degree.

But math can show art and become poetic and artistic too, don't forget that math is a branch of philosophy, specifically the languaje in which logic is expressed...
Math can be as poetic as english, although it's not as easy to appreciate its beauty
