If it happens to most people, it's the product.

It's not like people throw them in a grinder. When I used to own an iPod Shuffle, this kept happening to me. I didn't treat it rough.

But now I don't use Apple products and this never happens. So if I treat non-apple products the same as I did with apple but it only happens to apple, it's the apple product.

Fact is, you're not supposed to treat it like Indiana Jones when he picks up an important artefact. It's meant to last even if you treat it normally, since it doesn't, it's the product.

But that's also the thing. If it can't last just because you knotted it up, it's a dodgy product. I know people who to knot their non-apple products up and they don't tear.

So my point still stands, treat the two products of the same purpose the same, but one can't last ... obviously one is inferior.

Why can't we have both?
I own both a MacBook Pro and a Toshiba laptop... I'm a Graphic Design student and I use my Mac for school and projects using Adobe Design Premium (or whatever) and I use my Toshiba for anything else that I need... (gaming and FL Studios mainly) they're both great laptops and I think people who can't afford Mac's are a little butt hurt inside and that's why they say macs suck... of course you can pay less to have a "better" laptop (more memory, more storage, better graphics, better for gaming...) but you can't buy the security Macs have (little to no viruses) and I think the layout is sexy compared to Windows 7.
