To me it seems like they tried to get back to what they used to sound like, but they're just getting too old.

It wasn't a terrible album but it wasn't fantastic. A few good songs a few bad.

Yeah, for me they weren't able to achieve that, as you said it, they're getting old for their young self. :/

I haven't listened to it. The only song I've heard so far is Days go by, and only because it was on the radio. i heard that it was a homage to older bands or something. Is the rest of the album that sub-par?

I actually didn't like Days go By, but the songs I liked are "The Future is Now", "Secrets From the Underground", "Turning Into You" (this one is really good actually), "Hurting As One", "OC Guns", "Dividing By Zero" and "Slim Pickens...".

Okay, now that I look at it, I like most of the album, but the rest of the songs I highly dislike, even if "Cruising California" is supposed to be sarcastic, and basically to me they don't sound like they should, but maybe that's just me. Oh well, I guess I could say this is a mediocre album, but after the band has been together for so long I think it's acceptable.
