Am I the only one who dislikes Melee in Skyrim?
You start with Iron, upgrade to Steel pretty quick, with the option to go pretty much straight to Daedric due to smithing being a piece of piss to master. Magic and Stealth have so many routes to go down compared to it.

Actually, Smithing has been patched to level similarly to alchemy now. Now you can't make Iron Daggers to 100.
