His father was British, but when you're born and raised in a Hispanic prison, you should have a Hispanic accent. Bane is supposed to, dunno why he didn't in the movie. It's down to the actor, I guess.

Well wasn't his voice entirely different at first, but then they changed it because people complained about not being able to understand him at all in the earlier trailers? I wonder how much it was his voice acting and how much was them editing it.

Personally I preferred his voice in the original pilot, and because I saw it prior to the film the prologue is now ruined for me when I see the new edit. Still love his voice in the rest of it though!

No because he wasn't born in the prison,he was the "protector" who could of entered the prison in his thirties. The woman, (i forget her name) was the child, so she should have the accent

just because he wasn't that specific child they focused on doesn't mean he couldn't have been born there

I know he could have been for all we know, point is, he doesn't have the arabic/hispanic accent, so that is probably from being brought up elsewhere

true, although there are a few russians in the prison for some reason so he could have picked it up from them, or his mask does some voice changing thing
