Okay guys I need your help. My girlfriend just left for boot camp, and I, of course, am going to write her. I want my letters to stand out, so I want to write her on Pokemon paper. However I can't find anything. At this point I'll even order something like a coloring book that has the original Pokemon on each page and just write her on the pages. Well if you happen to find anything just reply! Thanks for your time!
As someone who has been through basic training I can tell you this is a REALLY, REALLY bad idea.
I don't know where you heard that the DS/ DI/ MTI can't read their letters, but if they can see through the envelope, or feel as though it holds something larger than a normal piece of paper the recruit has to open the letter in front of him/her.
Also, which service did she join? If it's the Marines, all letters get opened in front of the DI after they're all handed out.

It's the Navy. My buddy literally just got back from A-school. He is still on his two week leave, I asked him he said everything will be fine. I thought at first is was a shitty idea but everyone with recent experience I've talked to says it should be fine. Thanks for looking out though! :)
