That's a reason I like him, when he makes a serious or sentimental song it's cause he means it not just for the sake of making another song, when an artist has only serious songs, they probably don't really mean what they're singing, but made it just to make it. Also, when I said he said "I think you stand under me if you don't understand me" he means that a lot of times you have to look behind the lyrics, cause most of the times there's a second meaning.

Hmm, i agree with you to some degree. but i dont think of the computer as an instrument. an instrument carrying all sounds, and requiring nothing but a click to make that sound. many of the sounds are created by others.
to me its not an instrument.

Dubstep is a lot like rapping, very rhythmic, don't require too much skill and its even the melodic part that don't differ to much from other music that is catchy.

im the kind of person that as long as it sounds good ill like it. for instance the song i listen to the most right now is the Full Metal Alchemist Intro. dont understand a work of it but it sounds good. it may be easy to do but its hard to do right. Im slowly learning a lot about rap in instances of flow and delivery. some have one others have the other and few have both but then lack good content. dubstep is very similar that anyone can do it but lack timing and properly making the sound

The song "again" from full Metal Alchemist ive had on my phone for a while, its great cuz the singer sings so fast with so many syllables! and as i have seen the show i already know what the song is about.

i wouldn't compare it to dubstep really. dubstep is cool and all, but when you've heard one, you've heard them all. (in my opinion.)

wasnt comparing it just saying i like the way it sounds. although a lot of dubstep is similar most people only know of a few people that make it and since they hear the same person multiple times without realizing it the assume all is the same. however kyoto and kill everybody both made by skrillex are very different songs. if your saying songs without lyrics cant be differated then look at classical. in general ill listen to songs from any genre and not know which song it is until a certain point in the song

I have never found a band who makes 100% good songs. Each band has a song or two that is bad which is why I named individual songs not just the artists.. Some of Eminem's stuff is good other stuff, not so much. Disturbed: Indestructible is a song for soldiers so of coarse it is patriotic.

ive always been the kind of person who if it sounds good then it is good. having good meaningful lyrics is good but if thats your only requirement then you would like things like hopsin and immortal technique but shun classical

If I think the lyrics are good but the instrumentals are lacking then I try to find a cover version if possible.

theres a lot of people with meaningful lyrics that are just bad artists in general. that doesnt mean they dont have a message just that they shouldnt make music for a living
