My mom calls me Dave sometimes....my name is a'dion. Whenever she does it and I don't answer she gives me a really quizzical look.....as if she really thinks my name is Dave. I always have to go: mom....it's a'dion.
I'd rather have some childish nickname than be called something far from my name.
