Under the circumstances in the movie I think it might have actually been set off by Batman knocking it around like that. It wasn't being set off by a button (it didn't work so don't mention that she tried) and it wasn't being set off by being dropped on its nose. It was going to explode due to its ever growing instability. Given it was 11 minutes away from going ape shit on everyone, I think even a slight tap would have done the trick.
