Yeah, I find it weird that we're getting all uptight about something related to a fast food chain that's not involving the fact that it's food is heart-attack inducing crap.

The owner of that place may have said some misguided things but, last time I checked, he has every right to say them (as long as he's not discriminating against gay workers/customers). If you don't like what he has to say, then don't eat there....

It's not like Chik-Fil-A doesn't not serve gays or anything.
They just don't support those of the same sex getting married.
But the founders of the restaurant chain are just speaking their beliefs; they're a very Christian family.
I also don't understand why everybody is so uptight about it.

the definition of torture is forced pain or discomfort with no desire to kill or release for a long period of time. what i think you mean to say is they kill their chickens in a very painful manner. which is not torture it is just remorseless and cruel. but in no way shape or for torture. a chicken still lives after it's head is chopped off. probably in a lot of pain. that while being a cruel way to kill a chicken is not technically torture. it's just killing it outright

You do know about all of the harsh conditions they live in right? They are forced into cages that are too small. Sometimes they are left without movement for so long that their feet morph around the cage wires. Their cages are never cleaned, so they are living in their own filth. They sear off their beaks and sometimes break or cut off their legs while they are alive. They pump them full of chemical and hormones that cause cancers and other organ issues and failures. One supplier was caught jumping up and down on live chickens, drop-kicking them like footballs and slamming them into walls, apparently for fun. Veterinarians partnered with KFC have called for changes in treatment or even shutting down plants because of the cruelty, but their pleas are ignored. Do you really think that this isn't forged pain or discomfort? KFC doesn't pay for free range chickens. Please learn a little before you post idiotic things like this again.

This isn't a Catholic country. We don't have a set religion therefore people shouldn't have to follow other peoples religion. Just because somebody's god says that two gay's shouldn't be together doesn't mean they should have to follow it.

Exactly! I don't get why gays HAVE to be married under this religion. There are churches that WILL marry gays, but most won't. There has to be a better way for this to happen, with a better, more open minded religion

people can choose not to support a company if they want. chic-fil-a funds anti-gay rights groups. if you feel strongly about gay rights then you can choose to not give money to a company that gives millions to defeat your cause. nothing wrong with that.

In all honesty because I support gay rights I don't think I'll be eating there much. The only problem is when super christians all go and buy a shit-load of chicken because they think they're "defeating the gay agenda and doing the will of God!"

I didn't go to be against gay marriage, I went because I supported someone standing by their opinion. It's about damn time we shouldn't have to dance around everyone's feelings anymore.
