'But seriously I do think hes innocent. Even though he may have pulled the trigger and everything, he wasnt aware of it. I can read genuine signs of surprise, sadness (remorse for his victims) which a psychopath never shows, and genuine anger at the whole situation. His defense attorney is aware of this, but hasnt gotten a word from him so she cant really say anything. The guard on the left of the screen wants to kill the fucking guy. Hes so "patriotic" that hes thinking of doing it. Now he wont, as far as I can tell hes calmed down but he is that mad.
Im no Cal Lightman, or rather Paul Ekman, but I have studied his science and I do know enough to know that he has no idea what the hell is going on. He realizes what happens several times, which generally only happnens once and when they do realize it they go through all sorts of forms of acceptance. He begins doing that but when he zones out while closing his eyes he forgets that its real, he knows it but forgets and when he comes to he realizes all over again. He really wasnt in his right mind, but he knows he did it or thinks he did it. In his drugged up state thats all that hes been hearing as fact is that he killed so many people and the way they would describe it (non formal in his prison perhaps) it could put those memories in his head making him think theyre real. Theyre brilliant really, make him believe it and everyone else will to. But this man is innocent.

Just out of pure curiosity, how is he innocent if he's the one who pulled the trigger killing people in a movie theater? Nobody but him pulled the trigger of the gun.

I dont have that information, I dont know any more than I posted. All I know is that he cannot see himself doing it, but he has the memories of it so he knows it and has to believe it. He is questioning it though, he cant see how, but he sees that it is.

But you see your original comment is what Im talking about, he was the one with the gun and he pulled the trigger, fucking kill him. Well, Id like to know exactly what happened, Itd be hard to find out since he doesnt know, but if this was taken seriously enough it could be looked into and found out. I think before you throw a mans life away look at all the options, see what this guy really knows about it, and compare to what facts we really have.

Honestly, when it comes to this case, sure the murders get to me as well but so does the fact that he was able to get the weapons he got legally. Because yea sure there are people who are unaware of what they're doing and have mental conditions. But he could have had a hand gun, instead he had a gun one would run with into battle.

Well I would need more footage, which is something they decided against because of people like me. If everyone who studies what Ive recently been studying, then we could combine and prove that he did or didnt do it. Theyre banking on him doing it, so they dont want anyone messing up their case. Not that theyre breaking any laws, their just doing what human nature would tell them to do. But in a modernized and "civilized" society I think the truth of everything does need to come out, but they want to believe their own truth.

Thumb me down, really dont give a fuck. But the main reason most of yall thumb it down is you dont want to believe in this science. You dont think its credible especially for a rookie like me. I get that, I really do. But a lot comes into play here, and I do not claim to know everything about the situation. Everything that I claim is a possiblility of true mirco expressions that I see in his, his attorneys, and one of the bailiffs faces. I only said what I did recognize to be fact, but the motives Im not sure. Id need a psychologist with me as well and Id need a lot more training in this. But dont discredit the whole science because I sound like a crock.

How? And arent we all anyway? No matter what were lying, we lie just because were not sure when we could just say were not sure but wed rather say were fucking sure. You go learn about what Ekman teaches and tell me that what I said isnt true. Not for me, but for him. Put prejudice aside, I posted my opinion so fuck me, but let it make you at least give real science a shot. One thing I realized when I started learning it is that prejudice of any kind cannot help you, but every case is actually pretty uniform, only changes are the psyche of the defendants.

MFW it sounds like you are trying to justify your own killing spree.
