As a Christian, I don't support homosexuality. However, I have no problem with what someone else chooses to do with their life. It's them, not me. So, I say let them legalize gay marriage in all 50 states, and let it go from there. It would boost the economy a bit just through all the marriages that would occur, and in-turn, all of the divorces.

The section in the bible that apparently says homosexuality is wrong and a sin is actually heavily misconstrued. The part I am referencing is Leviticus, which is actually a book about property law in reference to Christianity. The part which says "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." is not a direct translation of the original text, it's more of a biased paraphrasing of it. What that part actually meant was don't treat man as you would a woman, as that is detestable. Looking at the time, that means, dont treat a man like property, as you would a woman, because that is wrong. Beyond this, the bible says nothing more on the issue of male and male or female and female relations.
Which brings me to lesbianism, which in now way is ever condoned. In the misinterpretation, only man and a man is considered a sin. But whatever, the interpretation is wrong. If you don't believe me, please read original or direct translations of the bible rather then paraphrased texts from what someone thought it meant.

There's actually a sizable portion of the country that believes in a sort of "guided evolution," the concept that God did create us, but rather than just magicking Adam and Eve into existence, God set the process of evolution into motion and guided it to what we see today. It's basically a subset of the concept that God created the world with a set of rules, and the purpose of science is to determine what those rules are.

If you believe in some sort of God, but not as presented by any existing organized religion, I think the proper term for you would be a Deist. I'm not entirely sure about that though, if you know better about what a Deist is feel free to correct me.
