if you insult jews you made out as a nazi, if you insult islam you can expect serious violent retaliation from extremists, there are other religions but nobody makes fun of them because they aren't prominent enough so the assumption can usually be made that when somebody makes fun of religion, they're targeting Christianity

If I was in a room with groups of every religion and I were to say that religion is fucking retarded, does that mean that only Christians should be offended? No everyone would be offended. No one would say "stop picking on Christians" they would say "stop picking on religion". But then there's those certain few people that have to assume that I would be picking on them and them only. Am I picking on them? No. I'm picking on everyone so everyone should be offended.
