I haven't really seen any episodes in a long time. But I know that for some reason, Timmy wished for it, and then the muscle army fairy guy (can't remember his name) banned all wishing for fairy babies...
Why is this? And how do the fairies make babies anyway if there isn't allowed to be any more after Poof? I'm deeply confused by this, and think I may need to start watching it to understand that...

They're basically immortal, and Jorgon von Strangle (The muscly guy who sounds a bit like Ahnold Schwarzenegger) decided there were enough fairies to go around.

Actually after Cosmo was born, he practically destroyed most of Fairy World, to prevent another fairy like Cosmo from coming into existence Jorgon prohibited anymore babies. He made a note to remind himself to add that to Da Rules but forgot about it, hence Poof.
