I'm not terribly good with very early British Empire history, but I know pretty much everything from about 1700+

Yes Henry V secured the whole of France through marriage, although he himself never ruled it because of his early death before his father-in-laws that gave us the crown of France. For a brief time we ruled all of France until the independence (which is the whole Joan of Arc saga, although she had a limited impact on it in reality and the tale of her was heavily romanticised by French historians in the Renascence). I thought that was just meant to be a general map of previous English and British territories and not just an anachronistic British Empire map but alls good then.

Pretty much how I play. Just invade everything, then zerg rush the capitals.

It's also practically the only way to win as Britain, since Germany goes for the Russian capital right away, then builds up their army and goes after Britain. And if two Allies capitals are in enemy hands, the game is over.

Russia is still harder, mainly because Russia's special army (Rocket Trucks) sucks compared to everyone else's except Japan's.
