I go to a small church in East Tx, and we use volunteers for maintenance (Grandpa would mow the grass, anything else that needed fixing.). We don't waste our money on big buildings and fancy equipment, we save it and at christmas make large gift baskets to bring to the needy/elderly people who can't come, and help pay for the local challenger league (Sports league for mentally/physically disabled kids which my grandpa founded)

On one hand, people argue that the Catholic Church is one of the biggest charities in the world.

Theres enough food in the world for every human being to consume 3000 calories a day, its not like there isn't enough food for everybody, his gold won't change anything, its up to the people to hand it out, too much food for too little people

inb4 religion debate. Not all religion is like this, not all religion is bad. My religion(Christianity) is meant to be about love, not condemning people not like yourself. The God I worship wouldn't promote the sort of hate spewed out today, it makes me really sad this is the primary type of religion people consider as God worshiping
