and how are mac's gay? A computer cannot be gay, straight, lez or whatever. Mac's are good computers with a easy to use OS. Believe me, I OWN both a Mac and a PC, and OS X is a really good, smooth and easy to use OS. There's nothing gay about it.

I had a mac and honestly I loved it for a while because it was pretty and did video editing pretty well. But then after 2 years of having it the damn thing began to slow down and have problems with everything from hardware to software, then I replaced some parts which cost me a fortune just so the charging plug in could break on me making it completely useless. After that I'm never going back, I built my own PC for 1200 dollars and it runs so amazingly I could launch a rocket into space.

I never really minded the price tag of the original mac, just that each repair was around 200 dollars extra making the total cost of a mediocre laptop about 2,000 dollars in total while my top of the line PC hasn't had any problems and the only thing I switched out only cost me about 15 dollars which was a faulty fan. I'm just going to stop so this doesn't turn into an internet opinion flame war.

All depends on the usage. I know someone that has had a mac laptop for over 5 years. Hell, my old ass mac, one of the boxy ones, STILL works perfectly! We only ditched it because it was taking up space! It all depends on the usage. Also, bought PC laptops are kinda shitty, and break REALLY easily.

Yeah with good care any computer can be good, I just didn't get so lucky with mine and was frustrated because they made it so difficult for me to repair it. Also on bought PC's they're just overpriced and not very well made, that is why I chose to build my own with a friend who is an expert. I made sure it was built with quality parts on the important things like the mobo, processor, and the HD. I shouldn't have gone cheap on the fans though, but I learned my lesson now.
