Go to different regions, destroy stuff with your pokemon, and maybe join Team Rocket

But if they do make this game they won't have all regions on it, You would have too buy it all separate games, so they would make more money

If there were a pokemon MMO I would just stand on the side of a road on some route and wait for people to walk by so I could challenge them to a battle with my 4 pidgeys.

All i want is a remake of THIS BADASS right here. With all the generations. a man can dream.

They should just make a game that combines Pokemon with Skyrim.

What they really need to do is build a gigantic game that joins up Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, and you can fly or get a cruise ship to Unova. All pokemon can be found in the wild in their respective regions (although some regions to mix and match previous generation pokemon). All Gyms, Elite Four members and Champions can be challenged, and a huge story arc links it all together. This probably wouldn't be possible on handhelds, so bump it up to a hardcore next-gen home console game with high-quality graphics, orchestral music and PSN/XBL/Steam/whatever compatible for versus play. Perhaps spice up the combat system to the point where you actually take control of the pokemon as if you were in its mind, and your trainer avatar is calling out whatever you're doing as the pokemon. Also, more than 4 moves. Imagine the crazy combos you could get going in double/triple battles. Imagine on-line co-op with a trainer's team and your buddies teaming up as the pokemon themselves. Of course, this is all secondary to the main single-player experience, which would be like the games of old (you commanding your pokemon, athough perhaps a system like FF13's combat could be used to increase the speed, verocity and tactical breadth you have).

I just wish Nintendo didn't own the franchise, and non-Nintendo brands could have it so it's not stuck on the DS or Wii :(

After you have beaten the game (Emerald in this case) and all that's left is your Pokedex and the Battle Frontier, you really start to wish there was someone else running around in your world.
