Because junior year is the hardest, and you only went through one year of highschool. Freshman year isn't even considered a real year to 90% of my highschool.
Just because you have easier classes and only completed one year of it doesn't mean it's easy. When I was in 10th grade, I had to deal with a teacher in algebra 2 who was absolutely terrible at her job; 16/25 people switched teachers in that class because she was clueless, and that was the first time I got anything other than an A in math (I was getting C's and D's and happy because of how she was). High school isn't as easy for everyone as your first part was for you, especially with all the shitty teachers out there. Some people take pride in what took them 12 years to get through.
