The writers and creators of Avatar didn't think so when they made comedy from Toph's blindness.

That's the one thing I don't like Avatar. I love Toph. She's awesome. But why all the blind jokes?

I applaud the people that can make fun of it themselves, but I don't like when other people do it for them. And that was supposed to say "don't like about Avatar" because Avatar's awesome

That all depends. If people are born blind, they don't know anything different. To treat them like poor unfortunate souls is stupid. Most people who are born blind enjoy life just as much, if not more, than anyone else.
