Bulls are actually colorblind. When a matador turn his "cape" to the red side it means he's going to stop messing around and try to kill the bull.

bulls are color blind and will run at any colored object, it just so happens that he was wearing a red shirt. They also dont make messes in china shops, 99% of the time they wont knock anything over at all.
