Some dude had terribad Cancer and went to some science company for treatment. Treatment Increased his regenerative capabilities past those of even Wolverine, but didn't cure his cancer, so his cancer regens as fast as his body can fix it. So he's this walking Tumor man that can't die Easily. He's a Merc, so he's more of a Anti-Hero working for the highest bidder. I think I heard that some time later in the series they fixed his tumor face, I think... Also, something about his brain cells being destroyed and regenerating is what makes Deadpool's personality.. well Deadpool's. I know I butchered that to hell, but that's the jist of what I know about him.
