Wait, people actually thought it was in Japan? Being a few miles outside Reading, I remember some people around here (including my mom) were like "they're filming some of the Avatar movie at the pagoda!" and I was just like "that's pretty sweet." i didn't realize people didn't know that some of the movie was filmed in a shitty american city..

I used to go to school 20 minutes from Reading :O
also, M. Night Shyamalan films almost all his movies in PA. I remember when He was filming The Happening and it was a block away from me.

Ok guys, take it this way: the movie was an independent piece of art based on the story you liked, but it was fully written and directed by M. N. Shyamalan which makes it his personal work BASED on something. The movie was cool, I didn't watch it for a long time because of the bad critizism, but c'mon, I watched it, I've never seen the show, it had action, it had adventure, it is suitable for my little cousin, I've seen nothing wrong with it. Not a masterpiece but not a piece of shit either.
