I'm just gonna try to show you how I take it from a Christian-perspective; call me stupid or idiotic.. it doesn't matter.
I understand that we can't necessarily "prove" that God is real. But if we could, then that wouldn't make God, God. It would make him something we could explain. Also if God could be proven by human logic, it would defeat the entire purpose of faith; which is one of main points of Christianity.
When God banished Satan down from heaven into hell, it's because Satan wanted to come down to Earth and MAKE everybody worship God. He wanted to force them too. God wanted us to have freewill, and to choose to believe in him. He didn't want to MAKE us. If there was undeniable proof of God's existence, it would defeat the entire purpose.
I actually find the picture humorous; the only fault being that it implies that religious logic is that simple.. and also that we apparently grow a huge head get large teeth and start getting insanely pissed off. I don't find this as an attack on my beliefs.. a true Christian should find this as an opportunity to state his beliefs.
Also.. just wanted to say sorry for all those other "Christians" out there.

If I wrote a book about a creature that nobody has ever heard of or seen evidence of, and said If you don't believe in this guy, you're gonna die or go to hell or some shit along those lines, odds are a lot of really stupid people would believe in it.
And the faith thing is even more stupid, that's like saying "There is absolutely no proof of (whatever) being real, no photos, no evidence at all, but a lot of people believe in him, so fuck it"

shucknorris ONLINE (07/23/2012) [-] Odds are, Nobody would. Why? Because that isn't at all how the bible was written. There's a lot more back story to it. The bible was written over long periods of time from very smart educated people. If you've read the whole thing like I have, then you wouldn't be saying such ignorant crap like this because anyone who has read the whole thing, Atheist or not, can't come back to me with the same opinion they had before. What your doing here is literally judging a book by it's cover. Either read the whole thing THEN judge it negatively, or don't say anything at all because those are the only two intelligent things an Atheist can do. I'm done ranting now have a marvelous day.
