The sugar in coca cola is completely different than the sugar in chocolate milk. Its high fructose corn syrup in coke. Also if youre trying to muscle gain then chocolate milk is better for the fact that it has more calories. Calories will help the potassium and glutamine restore your muscle along with the protein. If your losing weight, then regular milk. Gaining, or gaining muscle, chocolate milk.

Actually while part of the sugar in chocolate milk is lactose, the remaining sugar, added to sweeten it is usually high fructose corn syrup. some types may use different types of sugar but none that I'm aware of. I do admit that for muscle building or for athletes it can be better, especially after a workout, but what I mean to say is that for the average person who doesn't exercise so much It probably isn't as great.
