The culdasac (did i spell that right?) is purgatory. every kid stands for one of the seven deadly sins they've been involved with throughout their life. ex. naz is lust, eddy is greed, ed is sloth, etc.
This is why there are no parents or any other people besides the kids, and why E,E,&E are always trying to get their jawbreakers (heaven) but can't.
