Fucking School

I tend to do that. I hate essays that force you to take a side in an argument that you are indifferent to.

I always end up taking both sides and arguing for both

I don't have to bullshit in essays, because I actually pay attention because I want to learn.

I usually finish and think I have done a good job but then I read the question again and realize I have done everything wrong. mfw.

I write this on a somewhat related note, on the off-chance that other IB students frequent FJ.

I, like you (if you're finished) just got my results.

My extended essay, Chemistry, which I worked on for a good 200 hours if you include the time used for the experimentation process, was given a C. It was the single most intelligent thing I had written, the only problem was I didn't have enough words to include all the research I had done.

My ToK essay, which I started writing at 04:00 AM the night/day before the deadline, after smoking two joints was graded as an A. I worked on it for a grand total of 2-3 hours, and have never before compressed to much bullshit into 1,200 words.

Every course I took this year that had a practical side, entitled me to write complete and utter bullshit about my work.
I was doing lighting for my school's production of Grease, and there was a song (Raining on Prom-Night) in which I had one single white light shine down onto Sandy.
I did this simply because it was an idea that I thought would look nice; and it did.
In my written work, I had to put reasons for why I did certain things with lighting and I said:
"For this scene, the single white beam of light shines down on Sandy, showing her feelings of pure isolation from not going to prom; her only companion being the rain of Prom-Night (because we had a back up singer dressed in blue whom we called "The Rain-Drop" who was also in the light behind Sandy)

Thanks for reminding me I have a boring as hell book to finish before summer is over...

And honestly.. I love to read.. but this book is just dull.
