Habib is an Arabic name, most Arabs are Muslims and very little are Christians, most Christians eat pig while it is unholy to Muslims, Op most likely messed it up by thinking Muslims worship pigs, which leads be to believe Habib is a Muslim.

I had a little argument with a muslim classmate about this. I asked him why muslims consider pigs unclean and he told me it was because they eat garbage/unclean food. I told him farmers nowadays feed their pigs proper food, or else they wouldn't be allowed to sell the meat (don't know if this regards the US but here it does). He was silent the rest of the day.

They are considered "unclean" because of their habits and their willingness to roll around in their own shit and piss and eat it. Its their habit we find unclean. Of course it's not like other animals don't do that but among farm animals they are the main ones. It's not simply what this pig ate or that pig ate. It's the way they are in general.
