This is known as the strawman logical fallacy: misrepresenting someone's argument to make it easier to attack.

I'm not defending Diablo III in saying it's a fantastic game, it's slightly more than mediocre, but it shits me to tears to see logic distorted this way.

Let's break it down:

1. Even with PVP being introduced in the next patch, this is still a stupid argument. PVP does not make a game, and shouldn't do so.
2. No offline singleplayer is a valid issue. However, with the ever increasing internet capabilities, it is easy to justify. I live in Australia, with shitty internet, and I can play it almost perfectly.
3. Real Money Auction House: cheap money for Blizzard, but they aren't forcing you to use it. You can grind for your items just like old times.
4. It gets progressively harder. This is a truly false comment.
5. The graphics aren't exceptional, but they are nothing to scoff at. Why is this even an issue? Also, obviously real life objects will have better graphics.
6. You cannot even play Zelda: OoT with even ONE other player, yet it's one of the best games of all time. Who gives a shit if you can't play with more than four friends? If you keep complaining about everything, you'll be lucky to have four friends.
7. DRM is a good thing, it protects their intellectual property. Start paying for shit.
8. Why is being influenced by WoW a bad thing? WoW is one of the most successful games of all time.
9. The notion that you have to pay to win is also untrue.
10. Complaining that the game isn't free? Of course, why should you have to pay for someone's hard work?
11. This is a beneficial factor.
12. Again, a beneficial factor.
13. PvP coming in new patch. Even so, various game modes should not be the centre point for a dungeon crawl game. There are virtually NO games that provide different game modes outside single/multiplayer.

If you see these sorts of charts, please stop for a moment and read. Don't fall victim to so many lies.

Diablo 3 was complete shit. I played the fuck out of D2, such a dissapointment
