Now the only thing that I can think of is an over-emotional toaster with parent issues.

The movie was pretty good, but COMPLETELY inaccurate to the book.
In the movie, they just released NS5's to the public, and that scientist chick that hangs out with Will Smith is, like, 20-something.
In the book, they just finished the prototype for an NS4 and that chick is in her 90's.
Because **** logic.
User avatar #15 to #14 - psychofreak (07/16/2012) [-]
the book was just a series of logic puzzles Asimov made up for himself - it included mindreading robots, heat-resistant Venus-abiding robots, Robots without a second law, robot politicians, Nannybots, and VIKI-esque supercomputers that wanted to optimize humanity.
As a movie, the book would have been disjointed, confusing, terrible.
