Making diamond armor is a colossal waste, really. The point is that you can make diamond armor. You can spend the most precious resource in the game on something essentially frivolous.

**anonymous rolls 76** amount of diamonds it took him to make the entire set
I don't really start my game till i build my house in creative then I switch to survival. The area i built was cramp so i was limited to space until i decided i made a long staircase to bedrock with doors leading to various rooms: Bedroom, bathroom, portal room, Enchantment room, etc.
once you get to a fortune 3 pick and good stuff it's worth it if you enchant it, all protection armor when you are going caving for 2-4 hours is worth it to keep your stuff if not to just have iron armor with enchants.
starting to get mad at minecraft since a friend challenged me to make a brick house at least 20x20 wood floors and wool ceilings i took it as a challenge and clearing it out making it about 30x27 going down and expanding out sucks.

Ugh. In my opinion armor is just a quick, high-efficiency way to waste non-renewable resources.

**Vynce rolled a random image posted in comment #355 at Drunk men shouldn't cook. ** I played the same level for almost a year and found 4 diamonds in that time...
