miss my dog, is this normal?

Sometimes when I miss my cat, I dress up as a clown with a frilly polka dotted blouse
and I collect nuts and pennies from the ground to throw them at nearby squirrels...
My cat asked about it one day-. I could barely look him in the eyes as I began to cry
from shame. (Clowns are taboo here). Ijust had to tell him the truth, I owned up to it.
He said that he was about equally offended by the dressing up as a clown part as the
throwing stuff at squirrels part because one of his best friends is a squirrel.
Ever since then, he never looked at me the same. Ne been clean for one month and
five days
